General Terms and Conditions – Lucky Salon

1. General

  1. These terms and conditions apply to all treatments, services, and product sales between Lucky Salon and the client.
  2. Deviations from these terms are only valid if agreed upon in writing.

2. Appointments and Treatments

  1. Appointments can be made by phone, online, or in person at the salon.
  2. Clients are expected to arrive on time. Late arrivals may result in shortened or cancelled appointments.
  3. If the client is unable to attend, cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to cancel in time or not showing up may result in a cancellation fee.
  4. The salon reserves the right to refuse clients in cases of inappropriate behavior or medical contraindications.

3. Product Sales

  1. The salon sells hair care products, styling products, and related items.
  2. Products cannot be returned or exchanged unless there is a proven defect.
  3. Any complaints regarding purchased products must be reported within 7 days of purchase.
  4. The salon is not responsible for damage caused by incorrect use of products against salon advice.
  5. Purchased products may be exchanged or returned within 8 days of purchase, provided that:
    • the product is unopened and in its original packaging;
    • proof of purchase (receipt or invoice) is provided.
  6. Products that have been specially ordered or sealed for hygiene reasons cannot be returned if the seal has been broken.

4. Payment

  1. Payment is due immediately after the treatment or product purchase, either by cash or debit/credit card, unless otherwise agreed.
  2. All prices include VAT and are subject to change without prior notice.

5. Liability

  1. The salon is not liable for any damages resulting from incorrect or incomplete information provided by the client.
  2. The salon is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings of the client while in the salon.

6. Guarantee

  1. The salon aims to provide the best possible result. Any complaints about a treatment must be reported within 5 working days.
  2. If necessary, a correction or other appropriate solution will be discussed with the client.
  3. The salon provides a 7-day warranty on color treatments, provided that the client uses the recommended aftercare and maintenance products.
  4. If the client is dissatisfied with the color result, this must be reported within 7 days after the treatment. The salon will, if the complaint is justified, offer a free correction treatment.
  5. The warranty becomes void if the client uses home products improperly or applies additional color treatments without the salon’s advice.

7. Hygiene and Safety

  1. The salon follows current hygiene regulations and industry standards.
  2. Clients are expected to observe personal hygiene when visiting the salon.
  3. The client is responsible for informing the salon of any allergies, medical conditions, or other health-related information prior to the treatment.

8. Privacy

  1. Personal data is treated confidentially and used solely for administrative and communication purposes.
  2. Client data will not be shared with third parties without prior consent.

9. Applicable Law

  1. All agreements between the salon and the client are governed by Dutch law.
  2. Any disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the district where the salon is located.
